Salaam all,
I think that one of the most important things in someone’s life .. (yes I mean that) is to be able to correctly write letters, even if it’s for the sake of an exam. In many occasions failure to present a letter in an appropriate manner results in the letter being rejected wether it was for a job application or as an answer to an exam question.
I am going to put a series of threads that can be used as a resource when it comes to writing letters, I hope you will find them useful.
Some of them will be taken from the internet and others I may produce myself, please pay attention to the copy rights if there are any.
This first power point will go through the basics of writing a letter, all the things you need to include and how you put the sentences into context:
The link : http://www.primaryresources.co.uk/en…e_a_letter.ppt
or from joined files >> here << . good luck
learning english is the visa to the world wide knowledge sources and noone can say the opposite, so thank you for this interesting idea

Yes abaraka allahu fika brother, I really hope that one day the Algerian gouvernment changes the second language to French..!! Knowing different languages is important but there are priorities depending on how much they are used. Although lots of Algerian people know English very well (like you!) but I’m quite sure that they learn it outside school hence why not everyone can speak it.
Ok..I talked too much!
..I’ll try and fix the link.

you mean “to English”
In Algeria, French don’t require to be taught because it’s used everywhere, even by people who have never seen the school (at different levels). However, english depends on learning (of cours auto-learning outside the school has an important impact because it’s a language that isn’t used and languages can’t be learned without useing them). Same about speaking, it requires the practice and the use, that all.
Perhaps one day we’ll change French by English

Yes I meant English thanks for the correction sir.. I agree with what you said French became an everyday language, hence why we should concentrate on the English language..which is considered as a world dominating language.
